Here’s How I Work
Philosophy
I believe we are each born with an inner wisdom that the world slowly taught us to doubt. Families, faiths, culture, and certain relationships may ask us to override our inner wisdom in exchange for belonging. Over time, that inner voice grows quieter. Sometimes silent.
Healing is learning to trust that voice again. Not alone. Not by sheer will. But in the presence of someone safe enough to let you be fully real.
Making Self-Trust Possible: My Approach
Trusting What You Feel : Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Beneath anxiety, depression, or numbness are deeper emotional truths waiting to be felt. This approach helps us access them together.
Trusting Your Body & Intuition: Brainspotting. Some experiences live where words can't reach — in the body, in the nervous system. Brainspotting helps us access them safely.
Trusting Your Inherent Worth: Compassion Focused Therapy. The world has been harsh enough. The parts of you that were shamed or silenced are met here with warmth. Your joys, creativity, and dreams are not problems to manage. They are welcomed.
The Foundation
Trauma-Informed Care: Your nervous system is respected. Your pace is always honored.
Spiritual, Existential & Transpersonal Perspectives: Questions of meaning, intuition, identity, and purpose are not separate from healing. They are often at the very heart of it.
