My approach is different, and that’s on purpose.
Here’s How I Work
My approach is rooted in what’s most supportive for you in the moment.
Some tools I draw from include:
AEDP – a therapy that helps us heal through connection and emotion
Brainspotting – a way to process stuck emotional pain and mental blocks
Compassion-focused therapy – to calm the inner critic
Spiritual and existential perspectives – making space for meaning, mystery, and the quiet questions you might not have words for yet
Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT) - practical tools to help you move in the direction of what matters most to you
What Makes This Work Different
This is therapy rooted in heart. It's about returning to the quiet voice inside you. The one that’s reaching for more. Holding the thread of who you are. Working with me means you get to be fully yourself. No judgment. You don't have to carry it all alone anymore.
There's space for creativity here; for healing to move through a color, a song, a poem, or a feeling you can't quite name yet. This is also a space where imagination is welcomed; It's about helping you remember the capacities you've always had. Science shows that vividly imagining something activates the same brain pathways as actually living it. And when you feel that, even in imagination, something inside can shift.
In our work together, I pay attention to what wants to emerge between us - the unspoken, what’s calling out to be witnessed. And I pay attention to what feels alive inside you. The word psyche comes from the Greek word for soul; the essence that makes you you. I approach therapy as soul-tending work, a space to listen inward and remember what we may have long forgotten. I believe we all carry a deep current of wisdom inside, even if it’s been quiet for a long time. Healing can happen when we stop doing and start being, by turning inward, softening. By honoring what’s here.
