You feel like you’re always giving: emotionally, mentally, energetically.
But somehow, it never feels like enough.
The Invisible Burden
You’ve always felt deeply connected to the people in your life. So connected that their moods often become your moods, their pain becomes your responsibility, and their needs feel louder than your own. You try to be there for everyone, but deep down, you wonder:
Who’s really there for me?
You may not have the words for it, but what you’re experiencing is a kind of emotional over-responsibility. You feel at the mercy of other people’s reactions, approval, and attention. You walk on eggshells, trying not to upset anyone. You second-guess yourself constantly.
You want peace, but your nervous system is always on high alert, trying to prevent the next explosion, withdrawal, or rejection.
You long to be loved for who you are… but you don’t always know where you begin.
It Was Never Your Job To Hold It All
Somewhere along the way, you learned to keep the peace by abandoning your own voice. You learned to anticipate others’ emotions so well, it became second nature to put yourself last. To say yes when you want to say no. You thought being needed meant being loved.
But this constant emotional shape-shifting? It’s exhausting.
And it's not sustainable.
You’re Allowed To Want More
Healing doesn’t mean becoming hard or cutting people off. It means softening back into yourself.
It means no longer letting your worth depend on how someone else is doing, or how they treat you.
It means remembering you have needs, preferences, limits, and dreams.
This work isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about remembering who you’ve always been
Together, we can create a safe space where you don't have to hold it all anymore. Through body-based practices like Brainspotting and emotionally-focused, attachment-focused approaches like AEDP, let's work to untangle you from what isn't yours to carry.
I also weave in existential and spiritual perspectives into my work. This can look different for everyone, but can be helpful in exploring meaning, reclaiming inner authority, and reframing current challenges that are in your path.
We’ll slow things down so you can hear your own voice again; the one that’s been waiting underneath the noise to be heard, felt, and trusted. Now, you get to rise to the surafce.
It's time to come back to the you that’s been here all along.
Let’s begin.
